THE OPPORTUNITY

Total Systems Solutions Consulting Inc. https://totalsystems.ca is seeking a WORKDAY ADAPTIVE DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT person to work for our public sector client at the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority(VCH) in the Province of British Columbia, Canada. You must be available 100% to work remote full-time 40 hours per week with availability Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm in the Pacific Time Zone.

The consultant is expected to start ASAP and the contract length is 2 years.

Project Description

VCH has newly implemented Workday Adaptive Planning application to support the organization’s planning, budgeting and forecasting functions. VCH is seeking an application management service or support resource(s) to help proactively manage the Workday Adaptive Planning solution as an extension of the current in-house sustainment team.

Services Required

Scope of Work:

Overall Workday Adaptive Planning application support not limited to the following:

Application Configuration:

  • Tailor Workday Adaptive Planning to meet specific business needs
  • Configure workflows, sheets, reports and dashboards

Integration Services

  • Integrate workday Adaptive Planning with other enterprise systems
  • Data synchronization and migration

User support and training

  • Provide end-user support and troubleshooting assistance
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users

Maintenance and Upgrade

  • Regular maintenance and system updates
  • Ensure system stability and performance

Security and compliance

  • Implement security measures to protect data
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations

Deliverables:

Application Configuration:

  • Workflow, Sheets, reports and dashboards tailored to the business needs.
  • Configuration changes to adapt the application to specific processes and requirements.
  • Document of customization and configuration changes.

Integration Services

  • Integrated solutions to connect the application with other systems.
  • Data synchronization and migration services to ensure seamless data flow between systems
  • Integration documentation and specifications.

User support and training

  • Training materials, documentation and users guides to facilitate system adoption.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for end user to enhance their understanding and utilization of the application.

Maintenance and Upgrade

  • Conduct regular maintenance activities to ensure the application performance and stability.
  • Apply software patches, updates, and upgrades to keep the application up-to-date.
  • Documentation of maintenance activities performed and any associated system changes.

Security and compliance

  • Implement security measures to protect data and ensure data privacy.
  • Regular security assessment.
  • Documentation of security measures and compliance reports.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Develop and maintain customized reports and dashboards based on requirements.
  • Documentation of report specification and data models.

Service Level Agreement (SLA) Documentation:

  • Formal SLA outlining the agreed-upon service levels, response times, and performance metrics.
  • SLA monitoring and reporting to ensure adherence to the agreed-upon terms.

Consultant Qualifications

  • Solid experience and expertise in managing and supporting the Workday Adaptive Planning application
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and standards related to planning, budgeting and forecasting for Operating as well as Capital Planning.
  • Previous experience supporting health care industry
  • Previous experience supporting clients with $5B budget and 30K+ employee size
  • Preferably with experience with complex Operating as well as Capital Planning models
  • Support PST time zone.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

Salary: Up to $100.00 per hour
