The Tax Specialist will enable and support the execution of quality services having the oversight of Tax processes for Sandoz in Greece. The role ensures that all policies and procedures are implemented in line with Sandoz standards and drives improvement projects to provide highly effective and efficient end-to-end processes.

The Tax Specialist will enable and support the execution of quality services having the oversight of Tax processes for Sandoz in Greece. The role ensures that all policies and procedures are implemented in line with Sandoz standards and drives improvement projects to provide highly effective and efficient end-to-end processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly VAT -VIES- INTRASTAT declaration and all withholding Tax declarations
- Manage assets and Fiscal Asset Register
- Performs reconciliations for My Data electronics books
- Performs reconciliations for Warehouse book
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations of allocated accounts and ensure timely resolution and clean-up of overdue items identified
- Resolve Tax Accounting related issues and disputes, escalate as required or coordinate with various departments to resolve
- Actively partners to ensure appropriate interpretation of new legislation
- Collaborates with key stakeholders, including accounting authorities/auditors
- Ensures all processes, policies and procedures are clearly defined, fully documented

- Minimum of 5+ years accounting experience , preferably within an international company in the Pharmaceutical industry
- University degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or Finance; MBA or MSc in Finance will be an asset
- Good knowledge of Tax legislation
- Good IFRS knowledge
- Good ERP (SAP) knowledge
- MS Excel skills and good technical understanding of finance management systems
- Fluency in English & Greek, both in oral and written communications
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Flexibility and prompt reaction to any business change
- Strong continuous improvement mindset
- Proactive, result orientated and with a strong customer centric attitude
