ANDRITZ is looking for an experienced Technology Director to a new e-Fuel business. ANDRITZ e-Fuels stands at the forefront of sustainable and renewable energy solutions, driving innovation and transforming the way we power our world.
Our mission is to be the player in the emerging e-Fuels and advances biofuels markets by offering good and scalable solutions for decarbonizing the transportation sector and related industries. We aim to significantly reduce the greenhouse gas emissions and fight the climate change while at the same time promoting energy security and fostering a sustainable future. We are stepping into the e-fuel market now and grow a new business segment for ANDRITZ over the next years! We aim to focus on both e-Fuels and Advanced biofuels.
ANDRITZ has experience in turnkey and EPC projects globally, a high competence in best-cost manufacturing with active cooperation with different partners, our potential customers. We aim to be an integrated solution provider with the right cooperation models for our customers and abling a full EPC project execution model.
Location of the job can be any ANDRITZ location in Finland. ANDRITZ Oy centers of excellence are: Helsinki, Kotka, Lahti, Savonlinna, Oulu, Lappeenranta, Tampere and Varkaus.
What you can expect?
- Develop our business model and needed process capabilities upon our technology solutions together with our inhouse technologies, Green hydrogen, Carbon capture and methanol synthesis in close cooperation with our customers and their needs
- Identify needed license partners with the right technology to support our intergarted e-fuel and advanced bio-fuel solutions
- Develop catalyst sourcing strategy and identify needed partners
- Support, lead and develop our offerings (pre-engineering stages) to be able to support our customers and ensure customer satisfaction
- Optimize the mass and energy integration processes and technologies with adjacent processes such as power supply, gH, CO2 capture and methanol synthesis both MtJ and FT.
- Build relationships to other stake holders (e.g. governments, universities, conscultants and regulation bodies)
- Develop a broad understanding of the renewable regulations mandates in both Europe and US in order to steer our focus upon the right emerging markets
- Responsible for handling our R&I&/D roadmap for ANDRITZ
What you bring to the table?
- Technology and customer focused open personality with ownership for performance and shared commitment
- Master's Degree level qualification
- Practical experience in e-fuel and advanced and/or biofuel technologies and business developing as well as deeper knowledge of e-fuel sub-processes and their engineering
- Experience in technology development, business development and process engineering experiences.
- Fluent in English, ideally experience in working within international teams
- Willingness to travel internationally and excitement to work with people from different cultures
