TEMPORARYThe
Simcoe County District School Board is seeking qualified applicants for the
position of Switchboard / Receptionist reporting through the Business Services
department and will be an integral part of the Accounting and Purchasing Team. The Switchboard / Receptionist routes incoming calls
appropriately; welcomes and directs all visitors, including managing the
sign-in book and identification tags; serves as an emergency warden and
performs duties as set out by the Corporate Risk Department. As the first contact for all visitors to the
Education Centre, this position requires a professional, friendly, and outgoing
individual that is able to multi-task while working under pressure.

This position works twelve
months of the year.
Salary Range: $20.18 - $24.03 per hour
Qualifications: Required:
Secondary School Diploma.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook
and Excel. Strong organizational and prioritization
skills. Professional business presence
with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills with the
ability to perform in a calm and well-organized manner while managing multiple
tasks with varying deadlines.
Preferred:
Community college certificate in Office Administration. Knowledge of
Simcoe County District School Board Policies, Administrative Procedures
Memoranda, and Numbered Memoranda.
Experience working in a busy front office environment. First Aid, CPR and defibrillator
certification would be an asset.

Participation
in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all full-time permanent employees,
