POSITION: Receptionist

DEPARTMENT: Finance

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To act as receptionist and switchboard operator for visitors to Central Office, Employees and Pepclo Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling of visitors

  • Switchboard operator

  • Housekeeping of reception area

  • General duties


JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12

  • 2 years as switchboard operator and/or receptionist

  • Computer literacy

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Good communication skills

  • African language will be an advantage

  • Competencies required: Planning, Organizing and Control; Communication: Build and maintain

relationships; Detail orientation; Stress tolerance and Confidence and Service orientation
