Da Vinci School in Dolní Břežany is looking for a skillful English teacher for lower secondary and upper secondary school (students age 12 - 19 years old).
We are a private school based on alternative principles. At the center of our interest are our students; however, above-standard attention is given to teachers and other Da Vinci school employees. We work with the intrinsic motivation of both children and adults. We try to create a school where love and acceptance are unconditional, where everyone can express themselves, and where confidence and support can be found.
There is a friendly atmosphere in our school where children and adults build a partner relationship with open communication. Instead, we use continuous feedback, written assessment, self-evaluation, and peer assessment. We need somebody who can plan flexible lessons that are both enjoyable and intellectually engaging and challenging.
We offer
Full-time job with approximately 18 - 22 teaching hours. Flexible curriculum with a possibility to design and implement lessons based on the teacher's and student's interests, project work. Starting salary 40 000 Kč. Benefits - seminars and further training, regular teambuilding, and the possibility of using a school cottage in Velká Úpa, swimming pool, and others. Our school canteen (lunch and snacks for employers for 30 Kč) prepares meals following a healthy lifestyle, mainly from seasonal products from local suppliers.
